Subscriptions vs. Portals

A Subscription and Portal can be used independently or simultaneously. A Subscription automatically emails your client new or updated listings that meet their search criteria. A Portal is a personalized MLS website your client logs into to view listings and provide feedback to better collaborate. The Portal also allows them to start their own search and easily create Subscriptions from the available Saved Searches.

Subscriptions and Portals are similar features with complementary functions. However, they are two separate approaches for your client to view and receive listings. Many members create both a Subscription and Portal for their clients. The answer is up to you!
